1990 - Dr. Paul Farsai moved to Boston after his undergraduate studies at University of Washington.
1994 - Dr. Farsai graduated from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine where he earned his dental degree (DMD).
1995 - Upon graduation he stayed at the same institution and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program receiving his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS).
1997 - Dr. Farsai completed a 2-year Faculty Training Fellowship in Geriatric Dentistry at the Boston Medical Center. Concurrently he completed his Masters in Public Health (MPH) degree with a concentration in the Social and Behavioral Sciences / Health Promotion Disease Prevention program at Boston University School of Public Health.
2001-2002 - Dr. Farsai was one of thirteen candidates selected for the prestigious one-year Fellowship Program with the American Dental Education Association's (ADEA) Leadership Institute. During this Fellowship, he completed all four phases of the program designed to train individuals for higher education administrative positions.
2004 - Dr. Farsai was the recipient of the 10 under 10 recognition award from the Massachusetts Dental Society, in recognition for making a significant contribution to the profession of dentistry, their community, and/or organized dentistry.
2005 - Dr. Farsai was elected as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national honor dental society at Boston University Lambda MU Chapter.
2006 - Dr. Farsai was selected as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists.
2010 - Dr. Farsai was selected as Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy international honorary dental organization.
Dr. Farsai has practiced restorative dentistry on the North Shore of Boston since 1997 and opened his own private practice in 2007 in Swampscott, Massachusetts. Central to his goal of providing optimal care for his patients' dental health and needs, he enjoys a long-standing, friendly relationship with his patients and is thrilled to be the primary dentist caring for families who are now the 3rd generation of patients in his practice.
Dr. Farsai has remained as a faculty member at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine since graduation and he holds the rank of Associate Professor as a Program Director and serves as course director in four pre-doctoral courses and teaches in several additional pre- and post-doctoral courses.
He has authored dozens of dental textbook chapters and articles, continues to lecture in the U.S. and he has lectured internationally in Canada, the United Kingdom and Japan. In the past he has served as a consultant for dental insurance, consumer goods, and pharmaceutical companies and has an extensive volunteer record in various dental associations, planning and organizing many educational programs for dentists.
He remains active as an American Dental Association (ADA) member and in 2009 was asked to join the ADA Center for Evidence-Based Dentistry, serving as a reviewer and editorial panelist to review and teach critical appraisal skills in reading and writing scientific literature for the association's membership.
Dr. Farsai also serves on the Editorial Board of two international dental journals.
Victoria joined Dr. Farsai's office in March of 2016. She was born in Dublin, Ireland and graduated from Kylemore College before coming to the US in 1994. She is the mother of 3 children and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Victoria’s passion is traveling to different countries and visiting her family in Ireland as well as spending time in the outdoors.
Anghelika, a 2006 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Mount Ida, joined Dr. Farsai's office in December of 2007. She is a registered dental hygienist as well as anesthesia certified.
In 2006, Anghelika became a Golden Scholar Award recipient, from Mount Ida, due to her excellent clinical skills and professional judgment.
Christina joined Dr. Farsai's practice in 2013. She attended the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in Boston where she graduated in 2011. She is certified in radiology and local anesthesia.
Christina was raised in New Jersey until attending college in Boston. She started as a dental assistant in her fathers periodontal practice while in high school. Having grown up in New Jersey, she decided to stay in the Boston area after graduating from Forsyth.
Julia joined the office spring of 2009. She graduated from Northeast Metro Tech High School in 2009 with her certificate of completion from the Dental Assisting program.
Julia enjoys spending time with her dog, Vino. Her new found hobby is motorcycling, and she likes to hangout with friends.
Tanya joined Dr. Farsai's practice as a dental assistant in May of 2011. She received her dental assisting training at the Northeast Vocational Technical High School. She graduated in 2009 certified in radiology.
She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her puppy Chobani.
Ashly joined Dr. Farsai's practice in September 2015. She graduated from Middlesex Community College in 2009 with her Certificate in Dental Assisting. Ashly is a Registered Dental Assistant as well as Certified in Radiology.
In her spare time Ashly enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs.
